Sacha Snyder, VMD

Dr. Sacha Snyder grew up in Connellsville and currently resides in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. She received an undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Animal Bioscience and honors in Veterinary Science. Dr. Snyder earned her VMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania. As with many others in the veterinary field, Dr. Snyder knew from a very young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. She has always loved animals and the sciences. At Penn State, Dr. Snyder did research in COX-1 and COX-2 inhibition of different NSAIDS.
Prior to joining the St. Francis Animal Hospital team, Dr. Snyder practiced at Pleasant Hills Pet Hospital for 12 years and 4Paws Veterinary Care for one year. Her special interests include preventative care, medicine, educating clientele on preventative care and the care of their pet(s), and finding the best treatment for their needs.
Outside of work, Dr. Snyder enjoys spending time with her family, which consists of her husband, daughter, and fur babies. They care for a dog and a few cats at home.
