Dr. Alexandria Elizeus, DVM

Dr. Alex Elizeus grew up in Monroeville PA and now resides in Westmoreland County. She earned her undergraduate degree from Denison University with a BA in Environmental Studies with a minor in Biology. She was also a member of the varsity swim team during her time here. Dr. Elizeus earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois.

At St. Francis Animal Hospital, Dr. Elizeus seeks to provide high quality medical care while minimizing any stress a pet may feel. She is Fear Free Certified. Dr. Elizeus looks forward to building long lasting relationships in the community, while providing high quality medical care.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, horseback riding and swimming. She has several pets at home including: Ellie, a Jack Russell terrier, Luna, a terrier chihuahua mix, Louis and Calvin, Abyssinian guinea pigs, Zoey, an appendix quarter horse and Morty an appendix quarter horse foal. She has always been really interested in animals even from a young age, participating in 4-H with her horse Zoey and that is what sparked her love for veterinary medicine.
